Call for Referendum Option Committee (ROC) Chairpersons
This message calls for the nomination of Referendum Option Committee (ROC) Chairpersons that shall form their own committees addressing the three referendum questions (RQs) on this year’s ballot (click here to read the complete text of the RQs) :
1. Health Plan Renewal
2. Post Graduate Student Life Fund
3. Mental Health Fee
The Chairperson shall be appointed by the Elections Commissioner based on the submission of a written statement with supporting signatures of regular members from a candidate for an ROC Chairperson. In the event that more than one (1) candidate presents themselves for Chairperson for any one ROC, then the candidate with the most supporting signatures shall be appointed by the Elections Commissioner.
The forms must be submitted to the PGSS by noon on 18 February 2011. You can drop your form off at the PGSS office, Room 401 of Thomson House (Mon-Fri 11:30am to 5:00pm).
