Instuctor:
Joan Butterworth has an extensive background in theatrical improvisation and its application to a broad variety of contexts including communications, leadership and team work. She has developed these workshops as a positive form of creative expression, cognitive flexibility and exploration. She has a B.A. from McGill as well as a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Concordia.
Description:
This improv workshop provides the opportunity to play and learn the basic principles of theatrical improvisation as well as explore principles of play, which relate to enriching learning in group settings. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore their own life skills and presentation styles simultaneously. Warning: Be prepared to have fun!
