Constitution and Policy Manual

The constitution of the PGSS is the governing document of the PGSS as a democratic society. Some parts of it may be changed by Council, some by the Board of Directors, and the most important parts only by the membership at a General meeting.

Policies are broad statements that spell out the vision of the PGSS on issues affecting graduate students and post-doctoral fellows.

PGSS Constitution and Policy Manual

The PGSS is a non-proft corporation constituted under Part III of the Quebec Companies Act, with all graduate students and post-doctoral fellows at McGill University as its members.

The PGSS is the official recognized representative body for graduate students and post-doctoral fellows at  McGill University. The relationship between the PGSS and McGill is governed by a periodically updated Memorandum of Agreement, which outlines the conditions of operation of the PGSS with respect to the university.
